Well....I finally got around to recirc modding my G3. It turned out great. I added unions to the pump and it just barely fit in the skimmer section of my sump but it did fit. Here are some pics:
It will completely fill the collection cup in right at a week with some nice dark green skimmate. It also has the mesh mod done to it. One of these days I may gate mod it but I don't really have any issues with using the riser pipe adjusting the water level.
