I found another N. wennerae

YJ true wrangler.
a few months ago i found a hitch hiker N . wennerae and I didnt know what do with it so i just let it go in the display. after a month of clicking i finally saw it. Its bright orange and it grabed a hermit crab and pulled it into its hole. Now im debating dividing my 20L that has a P. Ciliata that i got 2 days ago to share with the N. wennerae. There both around a inch long. I have a few extra tanks laying around but the electic bill spiked, what do you all think? I have 4 stomatopods now. heres some pics of both.(camera sucks) N.wennerae was before i put in display tank. I still have to slurp him out.

say you divide the 20 into two divisions. you'll essentially end up with a P. ciliata in a 10g tank; not enough when it gets older.

Plus I have seen quite a few failed divider attempts. How were you planning on dividing them? eggcrate must be out of the question.

I was planning on moving them out of the same tank into there own 20Ls once they get a little larger. My plan was to add a plexiglass wall and drill small holes though it. I guess its better off just making there own tanks now and eliminate stress to them later. Just trying to cut back on the electric bill.

I have one of thoes, Its a good idea but I would feel to bad making a mantis live in one of thoes. they would get stressed. I had the P. Ciliata in it before I had the 20L set up. It was floating in my peacock's tank.

I'm not sure if i'm going to sell it. I will try to figure out its sex though im pretty sure my original N. wennerae is a male. I think its much to small to breed maybe in a few molts it will be large enough.

Billy from stomatopod is a good guy, he must be busy I would trust him over other places my peacock died after the fist 5 hours I had it. He sent me another one I just paid shipping.

Ive bought from billy too and had a very good experince but for more than a year now hes been flakey

your sexing your mantis? what r u gonna steal my breeding idea? =-p

oh btw, there never too you
as the say goes, old enough to pee, old enough for me X-D

I don't think im going to sex them, one of them is fully grown while the other is only 1inch at the most. I dont have the time to do it right now. I would love to do it one day. It takes a lot of time to breed them. I didnt know that they dont have a sexual mature age. Thanks for that info. I still have to catch it out of my 120 gal reef tank. Theres prob over 200 pounds of LR. I had to do it before i can do it again.
