ahh one of hte few joys of working at a lfs
in the back room of where i work i was unloading boxes and boxes of products as usual. i open one box and to my suprise 3 koralia #4 pump!

instantly i open one and toss it onto one of the three reef tanks and plug it in. WOW this thing moves water . but is about he size of a seio . the greatness is in the mounting device!
anyways.
once the price is set i think im going to grab one (would of gotten it today but need my paycheck to clear. i think its gonna be 60

the only thing that i DO NOT like about these pumps is the power cord is way to short

now i jus tneed to talk him into getting a vortech or a tunze nano for our 220 gallon reef that is currently running off my spare ocean motion

anyone know if koralia can be used on a seio wave maker?

If the seio is the one that varies (dims) the voltage instead of shutting it on and off, then yes, it can be used on the koralias.

Hydor doesn't recommend using an on/off wavemaker with the koralias, but a variable speed/voltage wavemaker is perfectly fine to use.

You get a deal I hope! Heck they were going for $50 online for the #4.
Looks like Hydor set a minimum retail price a couple of weeks ago for the Koralias.
(about a $10 increase over the the price we paid for the #3s and #4s.)

It's a shame because I ended up with a couple of extra koralias from our group buy that I let a friend have at cost.
Now I wish I had kept them for the new tank that I've talked the wife into letting me put in the the home-office addition we're building... *sigh*

Hey SpeckledGrouper, you got any left from the ones you ordered? ;)
How much is Pat still selling his at? (if he's got any left.)
