I just got a neon bulb tipped nem today. I am so excited for my tomato clown to host in it. How long does it take for the clowns to realize that it is there???

from what i understand it can take up to months. mine did it within hours i guess i was lucky. but tomatoes/cinnamons/fire clowns are known to be the hardest on anenomes out of any clown i have been reading

^LMFAO

that sounded funny for some reason. i have a 30g fresh and i don't know to tell you the truth.

so i see you guys are from rochester. im from westchester

as clowns are being more and more tank breed, they are loosing there natural sence that an anenome is a home. That is why sometimes a clown will take very quickly and sometimes it could be months. My little clarki in my little reef spent about 8 months swimming around till I got the phone call that he was in the anenome from my wife.

I'd probably go for something cheaper to feed it. Looks like it needs a good meal too.

Most experienced clown/anemone keepers would disagree with this statement.

well regardless, i can safely assume my cinnamons and fire clowns are wild caught and the cinnamon jumped right in there

no, nothing but the best for my anenome. im going to feed it nothing but expensive tropical fresh and marine fish and mice and rats sometimes crickets

rofl.

na seriously whats better krill/prawn or silversides?
