Same thing happened to my rbta within a couple days of getting it. It was really nice too. I was never told anything about covering powerheads. Some people use foam aorund the powerheads for a week or two while they adjust. If they happen to float up there they dont get sucked into it.
Sorry to hear about your loss, that sucks. Hopefully you'll stick with it and grab another one.

Yea I really want another one but I didn't really have the lights to keep him. I was going to order new lights this week for him but since he is gone I am building my sump. In 2 weeks I will buy my T5 setup and go look for another one
