Okay, so I bought this piece of live rock from the LFS for 9.99/lb. I love the look of it. Yesterday I noticed something on the rock. It appeared to be a clam of some sort, because I could see where the matle (I think its called) has 2 slits in it between what appears to be a shell. I did some things I noticed at the LFS with their clams, moving my hand in between them and the light, and they close. This one did the same thing. Can someone help me ID it, and if possible, what I need to care for it. As of right now I only have 130w PC lighting. I don't want these guys dieing. I didn't plan on upgrading lighting for a little bit, about 2-3 months or so, but If I need to keep these guys alive with high light, then I guess It's what I'll have to do.
ID this plz

I am sure you wont need that, I have a few that I found about 8 months ago and they are growing nicely, I even cam across a scalop that I did not notice before, it is larger then a quarter now. Must have been on the LR when I got it, almost three years ago.

it looks a lot like the FW clams i have in my planted tank. i wouldn't bother doing anything special to maintain him as he would appear to be doing fine already :)
