Yes I would take a sample to a local pet store as well to have them run it too.

I did hyposalinity treatment for 8 weeks for puffers. (Yes, I know that's longer than needed) and brought everything back to 1.023 by 10 weeks.
All the while feeding varied diet soaked in Vita chem, Selcon, and garlic alternating every day.
In this particular case, I was a little more apprehensive about using Copper than hypo.

Update:

OKtang looks better, Flame Angel looks worse.. treating with "no sick fish treatment" and no ill affects so far.

All fish feeding and seem happy

Purple tang looks fine and clear

flame angel died

Yellow eye kole tang not looking good

Is the purple tang owning the tank? Did you ever get your water tested?
