i got permission to get a new skimer! suggestions?

anyways looking for a skimmer for a 125 and under $300 so it will need to be used. Looking at the octo dnw200. What do you guys suggest?

I have the 300 but I haven't set it up yet though. Check with Sean at ebay. He will hook you up.
 
I got a Octo NW200 for my 125 and it's made a huge difference. and yes, I got it from Emerald Bay and he hooked me up :)
 
no mods yet as I wanted to see how it does stock for awhile. First thing I may do is the wastegate mod but it's running very well right now. I can tell a nice difference in the water quality.
 
Dang... I'm very seriously considering building a new stand so I can get a bigger/better skimmer and have more room for everything. Problem is that my tank is tall and skinny... makes me nervous. :worried:

My stand is 42" ... but the width is 6 feet. What i did is strapped the stand to the studs ... i dont think it's going anywhere.

I love how the tank looks high. A bit of a PITA to work in it though.
 
Awesome. Ive read they are great skimmers & theyre beastly when theyve been modded. Are you planin on doin any mods? When do you think youll get it. I was thinking they were backorderd for awhile.
 
Nope no mods at all! These are supposed to be plug/play the body will not allow for any more air. It runs 2 aquabee pumps at 1000 lph! I think this should work nicely on my 125
