I had a Jumper during the night!

My carpenter wrasse made the big leap last night. Unfortunately I did not find it until this morning.
I am going to Lowe's this morning to pick up sheets of egg crate.
Here is a question for the suicide prevention team, how do I lay it on the tank? Also, will the MHs (or any lights) cause a problem?

Thanks,
Mike

It looks like you have a canopy from your gallery. I'd just try and block off the back of it, so that if anything jumps it will just get a headache and land back in the tank.

Are you looking for a different answer than the one Brian gave you? His advice seems very sound to me. Putting the eggcrate between the light and your tank will block some of the light so you're better off not putting it there if you can sufficiently block things off otherwise.

I recall reading someone hung some plastic screen on the back of the canapy with a magetic strip attached to the bottom of the screen and a strip attached to the tank. That way you could remove the canapy easily. Then when you put the canopy back on the magnets would just attach again.

Does that make any sense?
