paid over night shipping. i was told it would be here before 10 am

well i track the package and for some reason its been sitting in
LOUISVILLE, ky for the past 7 hours
"LOUISVILLE,
KY, US 09/29/2006 2:05 A.M. ARRIVAL SCAN
PHOENIX,
AZ, US 09/28/2006 7:49 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN "

hmmm i live in florida and considering it hasnt been scaned out yet.. i doubt ill get it in the next hour... or even today

what would i have to do to get money back from a overnight that didnt make it here over night

I would contact the company that you bought it from. They will usually refund your money for the cost of the overnight if it doesn't show up today.

Don't always count on that website info to be correct. I've got packages that still said they were in another state.

iv never had probloms with the tracker.
and im praying thats what this is.. cause i leave for work at one and was told it would be here by 10 if this gets here at 7 or so ( typical ups time) ill have to come home. and go back to work... boss wont like that.. even tho this is a part for our RO unit

should i call ups and see if the info is correct. or will thye likely see the same screen that i do?

biggest problom is if it dosnt show up today it wont be here till monday.. and in that case. AHHHHH

UPS will probably see the same thing that you do on the screen.
UPS usually says that they deliver before 10 am, however not to all locations. I.e. if you live way out in the country (like I do) , you wont get your package till in the afternoon.

A little suggestion what I started doing. When I order my stuff, I leave instructions to NOT deliver the package, but to just keep it at the UPS location when it gets there in the morning and to give me a call. So I can come pick it up. They usually give me a call around 9 am when the open and I go ahead an pick it up. This way I know that my package (especially if it is corals or fish) doesnt have to sit on the truck all day and put more stress on the fish. Instead it sits in an A/C room waiting for me :)

Hope this helps.

P.s. if it doesn get there today, send a complaint and you should get some money back.

I've also gotten things that were supposed to be in a different state. Since UPS recycles their numbers, I've tracked the last place the number was used also.

I don't think I've ever recieved a package from them before 3 p.m. I'm south east of phoenix so I'm not sure what's up with that. Usually you'll get the package around the same time of day everytime.

ujust got it... i said to the delivery person. am i in KY. cause thats where tracking says this is.. and he told me. no it dosnt. lmao..

youd think they could get teh tracking stuff right by now :P

anyways.. box looks like it was kicked.. therefor. i still hate ups

I usually get my stuff by noon, unless of course it's something I'm really wanting. I've got stuff after 7 before. :D

UPS

Hey all,

Im not sure what shipping service you paid for, or what the seller actually shipped but with UPS next day air pkgs you should have visability at all times, occasionally the systems my show some lag intransit scans just check back in an hour. As for delivery time, unless you pay for next day or 2nd day AM delivery your pkg will arrive at your location whenever your address is reached on the drivers route usually the same time each day. If ever you have a problem like this you can call cust support and they will find your pkg especially if its next day air, that or provide a refund of shipping dependant on whether the seller actually shipped it next day.

In case your wondering I actually work for UPS,hehe, I would either ship livestock through them or fedex no one else in my book is worth the risk. Let me know if you have any other shipping probs or questions

It probably got hurriedly loaded in the shipping container without getting scanned. IMO your package gets handled decently in 2 places with the overnight shippers. (1) Is with the Customer Service Agent and (2) is with the driver. In between ...anything goes.

ofcourse the danmaged part of the box is right where the RO membrain was sitting.. anyways... time will tell if there is any actual danmage

I have seen how the semi's are unloaded during Christmas and uh, apparently the conveyor doesn't go fast enough, because they end up throwing a lot of the boxes down from the truck. Pretty sad! But I guess that is what happens when you are under a time frame. What I have learned. Pack anything I ship REALLY well!:D

USPS... i mean UPS is awfull for me. It's either an "exception" because it went to the wrong state or they deliver it to the worng house. I had an air compressor just this week get left in the driveway of 624 when my addy is 614.

Pathetic in my opinion and only getting worse, but hey, I'm in TN so we are lucky they can even read around here....lol.
