I have a beautiful red mushroom living in a hole

I have a beautiful red mushroom living in a hole... it comes out during the day and then goes back in...

I want to grab that sucker and frag it.

How can I do this? No way to reach in the hole... will have to grab and cut while the cap is out?

Will both halves live or do you have a better idea?

I only frag mushrooms when they get too large.

To have lots of those mushrooms, imitiate the params in my sig line and let that shroom alone. You'll soon have plenty of them. Water params are key to rapid shroom multiplication with no help at all.

Well, you can either wait for it to grow on its own or take a chance of ending up with zero nice red mushrooms.

Try to put some water flow on the little guy, he may get irritated and let go on his own, may take a few days. It's worth a shot if u can get more flow on it. Good luck!
