I Have A Car!!!

Um now you didnt have to go there. I love my F-250. lol Hey seth I dont know if you want to do anything to the truck but I have some clear tail lights for that truck if you want them.
 
Every truck has problems. I dont know 1 vehicle that didnt have recalls. Everyone told us not to buy a diesel ford, they have problems with there trans going bad. I have had mine since 04, no problems with the tranny. My rearend almost came out of it but that was cause of me pulling 2 cars on a heavy trailer through the moutains and slamming on the gas everytime.

I know 2 people that bought the new twin turbo diesels, 1 guy loves his the other blew his up on his way home from the dealership. lol Bad luck I guess.
 
Good choice of color too. White imo looks the most clean even when it can be really dirty. Basically, it's a good color to have if you're lazy about cleaning your car. :)

Also, the sun's rays won't be as bad on you with that color.

Yea, from 5 feet. Maybe it's my pearl white but I should be washing every week!
 
i've owned a s10 at one time and that's why i'm asking. if it's a 2.2 don't pull out in front of traffic. if it's a 4.3 than hp is weak but torque is great. watch out for those poppet injectors. they like to stick. let me know what kind and i give you pointers on better driveability on both. and by the way i got your message about the pump. pm me with pics when you get it
 
Difference between white and black is only 3 degrees so the big difference isn't that big. Just tint that sucker and it will help quite a bit.
 
Joe, it is a 2.2 liter ...what about ulling out intor traffic?

On a side note, look around the internet for a chevy s10 webboard. Read and read and read. Ask questions, and read some more.

Just like the saltwater community has a wealth of info for you, there is an entire automotive community out there for every car and manufacturer ever made!

It will save you so much time and money in the long run. I just bought my new ranger and have been reading for the last week. I just found a solve to a problem I have been having with the transmission that was making me think it was going to have to be rebuilt. After some reading of people who have had the same problem it turns out to be about a 30 min project and free to fix with some grease. Not that it always works out that way, but its better to be educated so you dont get ripped off!
 
what i was talking about pulling out in traffic is the 2.2 has no ba--s. all you have to do to get some more is disconnect the battery with a 7mm wrench (negitive black side) and let it sit for 15 mintues and then take it and drive with caution on the heavier side and it can relearn driving habits. if you have any problems give me a call and i'll see what i can do. i also have a tech2 gm scan tool for any codes that pop up. and btw did you get that pump?
 
There for free you can have them. I will look for them in the garage tomorrow. Are you going to be at the reef meeting next weekend.
