I have a Reef!

I finally ordered a light and put the first coral in the tank on monday. The crazy thing is the orange cap has already started encrusting on the rock!

So far i have a green slimer, an orange cap, a green cap and a tiny frag of ORA green birds nest. Im going to let these guys grow for a month or so and then hopefully fully stock it. That is if they all show positive signs

Not the greatest picture but I will be sure to post more as time goes on. I have had more diatom growth since adding the halide (evident on the back wall)

Thanks for the comments. It's tough to do the aquascaping in a small cube. I am so excited to have an actual reef again. Six months was just to long.

Im using a new style 250 watt icecap ballast with a PFO mini pendant and a 14k phoenix bulb. Also have 2 Vhos bulbs 1 URI actinic and the other actinic white on a icecap 430 ballast.
