i have come to realize....

living room rearranged :)

done a lil mockup on the plumbing & had to get a few pvc pieces from lowes. got the southdown sand from kevin....holy crap theres alot LOL

accidentially stepped on the glass pieces for my sump baffles, so had to get new ones for that :(

so i think i'm ready to get the plumbing all laid out & start siliconing the 2 addl tanks together, silicone the sump baffles in & drill the tank for the overflow. i had intended to cut all my pvc w/ a hacksaw, but when doing some of the preliminary plumbing mockup, i soon discovered how much doing it that way suuuuucks, so i broke down & bought one of those pvc cutters....cuts it like buttah :D

What cutter did you buy? I have one, but it only works on 3/4" and less. Not a sexy picture, but can you post one of it?

Yep, I was stuck doing my new plumbing with a hack saw. Finally changed the blade out and that really helped.

a wood saw works better then a hack saw but I have the cutters that will cut up to 1.5 it is a stretch at 1.5. You can also use a dremmel or your miter saw.

I traded my miter saw a couple of years back for some flooring services. I regret that decision all the time, especially during my build now. Only consolation is the saw seemed to die on the guy I traded it to.

There is no substitution for good tools.
