I have flatworms

I have had FW in my system for 4 years now and they stay under control. Never used FWe and I do have a Six Line Wrasse.

I do about 50g water change every 3 months on a total system volume of 700 gallons. Probably smaller fish bio load then most people and more LR then most, about 550 lbs so not sure all that adds to it all....

Always like to see peoples tanks that give advise....so heres mine.

how do you post a quote?

Over the the right side of a post there is a "quote" button. Click that and it will bring to to a reply page.

Give it a try.

Man those would be good to have.

Like I say, though, the bacteria reproduced faster than the worms. Sigh. :)

To get the quote, I typed this except without the asterisks:

[quote*]Man those would be good to have.[/quote*]

Those are pretty flatworms!! Unfortunately, pretty usually means poisonous in this hobby.... I hope they go away easily for you.

I've read dosage ranging from 1-2 drops per gallon up to 4-5 drops. Doesn't this stuff kill hermits/snails?

I've heard it makes the snails/hermits less active until it is removed by water changes and carbon but I haven't heard of any deaths from it unless they didn't siphon the flatworms out before they dosed the Flatworm eXit. In this case it was the toxins from the excess flatworms dying.
