I hope the leak isn't too big.

So, I installed my frag tank yesterday. Got it all plumbed up and working went to bed and this morning I decided to go check on it (I almost didn't). When I went down there I noticed that the stand was wet, the floor wasn't soaked, but the stand was very noticable. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and was running late. I couldn't see where the water was coming from so I'm really hoping it's just some dripping.

I guess we'll see when I get back from work!

in my experience a decent leak will start automatically. if it took that long to start leaking then my guess would be its just a small leak that will probably seal with a small amount of tweaking or it may just self seal. keep us updated.
any pics of the new frag tank? what are the measurements?

I've gone to work with way worse things than a small leak :) It's just a fish tank right? It's a small enough leak that I couldn't find any actual drops, and it's hard to see the water running down the gray tank. I'm pretty sure I pin pointed it to a bulkhead that needed a little further turning. We'll see in the morning at least.

ahhh gotta love bulk heads!!!!

at least thet's easy to fix! is it a rubbermaid stock tank?

Yeah, its in a 50gal rubbermaid stock tank. I think I got it all taken care of yesterday, but again this morning I was running late and didn't go down to see. Hopefully everything is dry when I go home today.

Are you using the stock BH that came on the poly tank, if so you need to be beat with a stick :) You should know that those are POS... Go get a 1" sched 80 BH and a plug from Savko for like $10.00...

Leak fixed! It was actually a sch 80 2" bulk head that was leaking. It was on part of the curve and I hadn't wrenched down enough to get a good seal. No big deal. I've had way bigger messes than this before :)
