i figured i should since i look here and ask for help atleast once a day.. lol

how long does it take to kick in? i.e. when can i use the search tool whenever i want? it still says server is busy..

your account wont be officially premium for a few business days. possible one day but be patient . check email for a confirmation letter.

straight from premium sign up page:
"It may take a day or two for your membership to become active.
The Reef Central user agreement still applies to premium members.
There will be no refunds for loss of membership due to user agreement violations"

after 48 contact someone.
