Dont throw it out yet. Turn it right side up in some good flow for a few days and see if it comes back. You might be suprised.

As weird as it sounds thats a good idea Floating fish. I had a peice of sunset monti on a frag plug and it turned upside down for like 3 weeks and I thought it was dead, turned it over and three days later its polyps were out.

Yep, I found my fire monti after months in a crevice. It was white so I decided to mount a frag on it. Well, it came back nice and red and now I have to frag it because the acro I glued to it is starting to encrust it!
