that's great. you grew up near the water correct? i was the same way but what got me started was in 5th grade my teacher allowed me to take care of the freshwater tank in the classroom and i showed up early just to feed them and watch them. he got to the point he felt bad that i was always sitting by the front door to wait for him to get there he even gave me a key to the classroom. needless to say he was my favorite teacher.
i'll show my daughter you pictures i think she will like them alot. thanks for sharing
My favorite has to be the last page... "Fish have to live in the water or else they will die." Man if I only knew that when I first started! Awesome book thanks for sharing!
awesome book.
i remember when i was a kid seeing anenomies in the LFS and wanting to touch them.. we had a freshwater setup at home and i loved taking care of it. i said to myself one day i am going to keep a saltwater aquarium
thats awesome! reminds me of this 'book' I have thats very similar that my husband wrote as a kid about his trip to washington DC. Its so hilarious. My husband gets all blushed when I read it and crack up.
Nice find!

Thanks so much for your kind comments! There is a cool website called snapfish.com that i plan to make books out of some of my old artwork and stuff.
For those of you with young kids you might look into it. Its a great way to keep your children's artwork without having to have 5 huge boxes in the garage full of the old stuff..
Yay I'm glad to hear it! Yeah I'm working on one that is family history related for my grandparents. I wanted to have it done by Christmas but I got so involved in researching and writing captions and stuff I think it'll be a new year for the family book I'm glad to hear that the books came out good. I'm just trying to make sure the photos look good for the book.
Some of the old scans of the family ones are really small resolution so I've had to edit and change stuff to really look right to fit on the book
