I need a big ball of cheato

As all of you know I just set up the new tank when things went south. I have a bit of cheato from my previous sump but since that sump was small the cheato I have is not even close to enough for the new one.

If you have a lot of cheato I need a lot and If you have a little I can use that too. I need about 2 soccer ball size balls... (does that make sense) lol (this should be interesting for those of us with dirty minds). I know nobody has that much but a bit from here and a bit from there should do the trick.

Shouldn't your other chaeto grow? THat is the point after all is it not? The chaeto grows from absorbing the excess nutrients in the water.

I'd just go with the small bit you had, light it up good and watch it expand....

I'm about 1 minute and 33 seconds away from GWA.

The reason I want to start off with a big bunch is to keep all the levels in check.


I know nobody has those gigantic balls of cheato and if they did they are keeping most of it. Whatever you guys have will work. Multiple sources of it might give me a better mix anyway.

Hey BK I have a big clump you can have. The sump you built is great but I haven't plumbed everything permanently yet still messing around with where I want everything. It's not soccer ball size but you can have it I'll drop it off at Gateway tomorrow or Saturday I don't know when I can get up there.

Hey guys. Sorry about the slow response here. I still don't have Internet access at the new place as the wife is trying to do the cable Internet thing...
