I was looking at my live rock that I have curing in a twenty gallon long tank to see what kid of life is on them and I saw a bunch of fan worms. I also have to small submersible pumps in there to circulate water and I noticed something bright red in the intake guard of one of them. At first I thought it was a shrimp but I shook it off and it fell onto another rock and wasn't moving so thinking it was dead I took it out of the water to look at it and it had claws. The left one was about 3 times the size of the other one. While I was looking at it it started moving so I put him back in and he crawled under a rock. I did a search for a red lobster and all I could come up with was a spiny red Hawaiian lobster. This is obviously a juvenile and may not be showing the characteristics of an adult yet but it didn't look much like the picture I saw. and with the one claw being so much bigger than the other I was wondering if anyone here knew what kind it might be. As for size I would say that it is anywhere between .5" and 1" very small. Can anyone ID it from this description.
