just bought a brain coral a week ago. did ok but yesterday lights (on timer @9hrs t-5 lights.)came on and it looked awful. all color was gone and all spines were protruding out.as the day went on the inside of coral looked like it was ripping apart. now this morning looks like it is dead. it has decent flow (have a jet set for a current). had diatom problem last week (had to move rocks to make some space for coral was to be the highlight). there was some on it for awhile. i have 30 gallon tank 2 clownfish, 1 firefish 2 damsels, 1sea cucumber, 1 emeral crab, 1 horseshoe crab, 1 plate coral, 1 colt coral, 1 orange linkia starfish, 1 sinularia, 1 toadstool leather. 1turbo snail 1 margarita and 4 asteria snail. temp-77 salt-1.023 ph-8.4.
