Hi I need help with a Genx2400 needle wheel pump. It is not drawing in air the way I have it setup. It will work well when I put an airpump on the venturi to for the desired amount of air in.
It is set up on a skimmer I am modidfying to be a recirculating skimmer. The pump is set in a vetical position with the intake on the bottom and the exit on the side going into the skimmer.
I have two guesses so far
1. The venturi floods out and needs to be in the horizontal position?
2. The pump is recirculating so much air that it cant create a vacume to draw more air in.
I have the same pump in the regular horizontal position but not recirculating and it works well
