I need skimmer help

My Rio has crapped out on my skimmer. I have a nice new Maxi-Jet 900 to replace it with. Problem is, there are lots of parts and no instructions on how to use it in a skimmer.

Can someone walk me through this, please? I've got a musical mind, not a mechanical one.

What kind of skimmer? What exactly do you need to know about hooking it up? One thing is for sure though, a maxi-jet 900 is not big enough to run any skimmer with. You can use a maxi 1250 on some smaller skimmers, but i don't think i have ever heard of anyone using a 900.

Paul, I think it's a CPR. I'm not for sure. The pump is what Leighanne sold me to use to replace the Rio I had. The parts look different from the Rio, so I'm not certain what goes where anymore. I'll have to dismantle the old one, I guess, and see what correlates with what.
