I Need Some Suggestions

Hi everyone, About 2 months ago I purchased a yellow head jawfish and qt it for a little over two weeks. Then I put it in my DT and haven't seen it since. I've lost all hope that it's still alive. My blood shrimp mysteriously dissapeared a little while before I put in the jawfish, and now I haven's seen my cleaner shrimp for about a week. The only culprit could be my purple reef lobster. I have to take him out and I have no clue how. Removing all my live rock is NOT an option. Now i think that the jawfish may have been too small for my 90 gallon reef.

Does anyone have any suggestions for removing the lobster and for another bottom-dweller that is reef-safe, a little bit bigger, and won't destroy my DSB?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

You can put some meaty treat into a glass mason jar and prop it at a 45 degree angle against some rock. The theory is that he will go into the jar at night to get the treat, but cannot get back out because the sides are so slick.

You can also cut the top off of a 2 liter bottle and put in back in backwards. The fish/creature enters the center of the top to get in, but cannot find the center to get out. You might have to enlarge the center so that he will fit.

Oops my friend was on reefcentral on this computer on his account and I guess he forgot to log out. The above post is mine not Lobsterman's.
