They recommend 500ml per 100 gals of water, I have found this formula is a starting point (IMO) and i have increased the amount of EB based on Bio-Load. It did not seem to work well until i increased the amount used to 1 1/2 times the recommended dose and then i saw results, I do have a large amount of SPS in a very small tank with total water volume only around 100 gals or so. One thing is that you need to get you Nitrate/Phosphate low by other means like GFO/Water changes and then in time the EB will kick in and start to keep them there without any GFO once they are fully colonised by bacteria.
