I think I'm ready

After about six months researching and deliberating, I think that I'm ready to purchase my first clam. I just upgraded my lighting to add 2 x 250watt Blueline MH's. These are in addition to the 440watts of VHO lighting. Now I hope this is enough light ;) . My tank has been established for about 4 years with very stable water params. Now for my first attempt with clams, which species would you recomend. I am going to try to find one around 3- 3 1/2", which as I understand should have made the trandition to photo. I do feed DT's now on a regular basis, so a phyto source will be readily available for it. As for calcium I currently drip Kalk and maintain a stable 450 ppm for my SPS. Any help, opinions, or other information that I may have missed would be greatly appreciated.

You could add any clam you want....if I were you I'd pick up a squamosa and a maxima to start.

Yes, you have MORE than enough light :) Might I reccomend against the Blueline 10k bulbs though...they are quite poor. The super whites are nice, though!
