So, theres a bit of a story why he didn't get QT'd-my tank sprung a leak on the day he got here, so he went into a ten gallon QT with my seahorses, and the blenny I also got the same day-I left him alone, but noticed a red spot near his tail. Figured oh-well-collection problems probably.
so, last night, I threw him in my tank that I got sealed, etc. etc. Today, I got my first GOOD look at him...
I need a macro camera, but I don't think that will help. the wound goes through near the base of his tail-doesn't affect swimming of movement. BUT, theres a white spot in the middle of it, and on one side theres a long white looking thing under his scales, ending in another white bump... the red areas do stick out. I can see it cause hes white (yellow headed jawfish) so... but hes so fast, even if I had a camera, I wouldn't beable to picture it for ya.
SO... should I take him out and treat? with what? I know what to do for seahorses with stuff, but not this!!! I don't think a freshwater dip would be effective, since its under his skin?
