I think my welso has brown jelly.

I noticed today that there is brown stuff on my welso. And I can see some pieces of the skeleton on top where the polyp is. I read freshwater and iodine dips help. So how long for either dip and is povidone iodine 10% an ok iodine to use

hey asgrande, sorry to hear. just had the same problem with my duncan. i caught it very early and started treatment right away. its looking great now. and fully open. i used seachem reef dip. get it at most petstores. and dipped for ten minutes, 2 times a day, at the recommended dose on bottle. good luck
