Here is what I have done with it.I'm not done yet I still have to add lights, sand and 2 more LR structures. I also would like to make the one I have in there taller.

Looking good so far. If you plan to add corals, then you may not want to make those rocks any taller because you'll want room for coral growth. That's a mistake that I made and can't change now.

yikes, about the floor being real wood. For many of us we have had lots of water on the floor and more than once.

My parquet hardwood is ruined from having a tank on it for the last almost 6 years. Saltwater eats through polyeurothane finish in no time. Paste wax floors may fare better, but I don't know.

But from the looks of your set up, you can still prevent a lot of damage. The worst damage happens where you can't see if when water hits the floor and seeps under the base or stand where you can't wipe it up and it sits there turning your wood black. Your base looks really flush to the floor. I wonder if you could put some kind of silicone calk along the bottom to keep water from going underneath?

You're fine as long as you don't ever need to move and take down the tank. :-)

Looking at the pictures more closely, it looks like you've sealed the base good. That's the most important.

For the rest, if you keep the water cleaned up fast I don't think it's too big of a deal.

If you have a major break or flood your floor is toast, but that would be true of a lot of floor types.

id caulk around the base with some clear silicone in a small thin bead wipe up any access silicone , that will keep any water from creaping under the stand, also laying towels around the tank when performing maintance will help reduce spillage to reach the floors and keep them treated will also help. once the water is absorbed by the floor it will bow and warp badly

Saltwater ruins everything, tile would be best bet but eventually will discolor and break down grout. Doesnt matter if you got enough scratch for this hobby replacing a grand or 2 woth of flooring aint no big deal! Like I say fudge it.
