Adrian, it's pretty big when it's completely open, as in large dinner plate sized! I got it about 3-4" across, one of the former members of NTRC used to hang them out, she had tons, all at least 3" across. This one got big quick, and I have a 2.5" one down in the rock work from where it tore off during a transfer to the 90 about a year ago.

Thanks Mike, it's easy to get discouraged at times, I see so many awesome tanks, and while I have good luck with mine, I'm still not 100% happy with my bulb setup. It just doesn't seem to have the WOW factor that many tanks have, but I'm glad that some people like it.

I really like the magrock a lot. I'm planning on getting another one, a large, and moving this one over a bit. I actually won it at the fragswap, and I just moved my frag rack over to the new frag tank, so I'm still debating on this. I am thinking either turning them into little zoa gardens, or more LPS.... I love LPS. I think I could glue some tabling/plating SPS onto the bottom of them and get even more use out of them.

Yep, they can be. I've had no problems at all, but the person I got mine from thinks she lost at least one fish this way. She had a lot more 'shrooms then I though. It's really nice looking and glows nice and bright green under actinics.

I have a few of them. Yes they can eat a fish, I lost 2 Barbershop gobies to them. I honestly think you have nothing to worry about unless the fish are really, really small & they decide to rest on the shroom.

Thanks, I really dig the ric also, I've got 3 various sized babies from it in my frag tank right now, I think I'll probably put one of them back into the tank once they grow out some. The bubble is hands down my favorite coral, it's an excellent coral and I got a KILLER price on it.

i have a pearl bubble also that is growing back after the office tank crash. do you know if they are fraggable?

They are, but it is a long and special process. You have to notch it from the bottom and then use shims to cause it to naturally split..if you cut the tissue it dies.

This one is actually different than a pearl bubble, are the pearl bubbles usually in a ridge formation? I've considered fragging this one, but it's a bear and only has two mouths, so I don't want to risk it.
