Among all the others- sat the rare Gigantea Carpet Anemone in the corner! He's a lil bleached, but he'll make a good addition to my new tank.

:-) :-)

He's $39.99, but goes on sale this weekend. So I had them hold on to him for me. He looked real good, so he should be fine.

I don't think saving $10-$12 is worth leaving that gig in the hands of Petco system and employees. You will have a much higher chance of it living if you buy tomorrow rather than wait 5-6 days. It's in decent shape now and god knows what it will look like by the end of the week. But if you have family or other reasons that won't allow you to purchase it sooner that's understandable.

i would go back and pick him up tomorrow but that is just me :D i wouldn't trust their staff or water parameters or even the Lighting.

Thats crazy... cop that now! Is that a blue carpet too?! I dont understand why petco thinks they can keep nems it angers me they run cf bulbs ***...

No offense but if you can't afford $39 can you afford to properly treat this anemone when you do get it? The longer you wait the more likelihood the anemone will need to be treated.

in his defense, we have to sometimes be froogle to last in this expensive hobby and any experienced reefers tank on this site is better than petco

I agree as to the last half of your sentence, but only incrementally so. This nem will most likely require treatment to survive, which, at minimum will run at least $100, all in (assuming he will need to buy meds and a HT setup).
