I was wondering what a good method to get ph come up and stay up.
Right now its running between 7.8-8. I would like to be 8-8.2. I have a calcium reactor that is running between 6.8-7 with a high fluient rate. I think this may be why the ph runs a bit lower in my system. I do drip kalkwasser for topoff, but only 4 teaspoons in a 5 gallon jug. Maybe use more kalk?
I just started running my fuge light on opposite cycles as the tank lights to see if this helps a bit.
Any other good ideas? I only use ro/di and do 35 gallon water changes every month on a system that is around 100 gallons.
ALK is at 9 dkh
