I want to stock my 220 gallon tank with angelfish

k, my tank has been going since October and I have been doing some research on what I want to stock it with while its going though the cycle I probably won't stock until February or March. All my levels have been stable for the last 6 weeks, the only issue I'm concern with is the PH, its on the low end 7.9 - 8.1, the calcium is 460 and DKH is 11

What I have currently in the tank is:
Yellow tank
Kole Tang
Banner Butterfly fish
Flame hawkfish
lawnmower blenny

When I started I was gearing towards corals, however I would like the angelfish more, but I have put a few corals in
Star polyps
leather toadstool
neon green leather toadstool
kenya tree

I have in the tank
200 lbs of live sand
150 lbs of live rock
Some Instant reef inserts

At night I can see a large culture of copepods, I actually watch my butterfly fish eating them.

What I would like to put in
Singapore Angel
Majestic Angel
Emperor Angel
Coral Beauty
Flame Angel
Yellow watchmen
Green Mandarin

I have my quarantine tank set up for whenever I get ready to add more fish

I was going to put the smaller fish in first and then
I was going to start with the Singapore angel because he is the more shyish angle to let him get acclimated to the tank first,
after a few weeks than I was going to put the Juvenal emperor and majestic in at the same time
later then the two dwarf angel

Now I have read about feeding and the diet of what the angel like to eat and what will keep them healthy, I have read several post from this and other forums. My question is to keep the angels healthy what is the best way and kind of diet to feed them. I have read that some put sponges and small frags of corals so on that I'm wanting to know what is the best way to keep them healthy in a 220g tank.

I would do the majestic and dwarf angels before the emp, but other than that your plan looks fine. Emperors can be bossy, even as juveniles, and Navarchus are very shy by nature - so giving the Navarchus a head start would be ideal.

Out of curiosity, how is the Kole doing with the Blenny and how long have they been together?

Kole doing fine so far they have been together for two weeks. I have a Heniochos that seems to bother the tangs and causes problems more. I'm going to try and get him out, but tried all the traps and even chase him down still eludes getting caught.

I agree. Look into the Chaetodontoplus group, best to shy away from any of the large Pomacanthus angles in this tank for long term care.

I would love to get the blue scribble and few of the others, but my pocket is not that rich for that group. Beautiful though maybe someday.
