I had a Arrowana in a 55 for 3 years.It was 21 inches when it stopped eating.Live a month without eating.
and then what happened?

It was still moving but very slowly of course.I tried different meds to no avail,so i trashed it to put it out of its misery.

You could have simply told us "it died".

Trashed it??? You could atleast have given it the 'ole vodka bath. FWIW I have seen maracyn and formulin kill arrows. I think that the doses were too high though. I have used maracyn with a arrow with good results

I tried several different antibiotics and such. One sounded like MARACYN or something like that.Sorry about this late reply,I went to bed early.

Much to my dismay this thing is still working. Man I forgot how loud Rios are. I need to come up with a better way of hanging it from the tank. I am using a slighty modified version of tthe clip that it came with. Its vibrating and driving me nuts. Also I am really suprised at the smooth current it provides. I really want the coralline to cover up the white pipe soon its kinda ugly. I am also thinking about replacing the tubes with tubes with less slits. I think that the flow is almost too gental. If anybody has any ideas that would make this thing work better let me know. And throwing it away isn't one of the ideas I am looking for:D

Thanks
Scott
