Well I leave in about 15 days to go to Germany for 20 days. I am doing this early so I don't forget haha.

So I am leaving my tanks in the hands of my parents while I'm gone, and I would like to get some names and numbers just in case anything goes wrong, because it is going to be extremely hard to get ahold of me when Im gone.

So if people would be kind enough to pm me their names and numbers for me to make a list of people my parents could contact in case anything goes wrong ((*knocks on wood* lets hope not though)) But better safe then sorry right?

Thanks everyone

Hello Chris.

Now what could possibly go wrong with a finely tuned reef tank like yours in a mear 20 days? probably not much. But if your folks need some advise or help, I should be available to call upon.

I'm sure everything will be just fine after you leave them an encyclopedia length set of instructions. But, just remember the basics:, water change with 1.025 new salt water, and how to maintain alk between 8-12 DKH, and calcium around 400 and things should be just fine. Just be sure they know how to measure each once a week with the test kits and make adjustments. It's only chemistry... not rocket science...

And you be sure to enjoy a fine cultural trip and take in all the sights and sounds. It's a warm winter again over there. so it should be fun.

Don't forget pictures of the local architecture, museums, and of course aquariums. we will expect a slide show when you return.
other than that, have a fine trip!!

Thanks to everyone who helped me out!

And to Jon.. I had the gorg up until a week ago. My lawnmower blenny decided to rearrange it and lost it. I tore up the tank looking for it but no luck, I'm still looking and hoping its somewhere.
