Ice Cap 175

Purchased a new ICE CAP 175 MH set-up with sider reflector last week. In the same order I purchased another spider reflector and ushio 10000k MH buld for my existing 175 MH set-up. The ICE CAP system worked great However after I changed out the reflector and mogle socket on my old system the new 175 Ushio bulb would not light. I put the old 175 reeflux bulb in and it woked just fine. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your post, I apologize for the delay for the reply. I recommend that you take a close look at the contact points in the mogul socket, you may need to lift up the tab at the base of the mogul socket a bit for it to make contact. What happens sometimes is that the bottom nipple part of the bulb where the contact is , varies between bulbs. So you will find that sometimes bulbs will have a good contact with the contact points and some will not. If your are still experiencing troubles with your units, please contact us for further trouble shooting
