IceCap 250 Watt Electronic Metal Halide / HQI Ballast can fire both SE and DE bulb?

Hello all,
I was wondering if IceCap 250 Watt Electronic Metal Halide / HQI Ballast can fire both SE and DE bulbs? Marinedepot stated that it can fire any metal halide 250W bulb.
