Icecap 660 wiring

So I have a brand new wire harness and an icecap 660. I want to use the existing wire that are already wired to the standoffs which I'm running on another ballast. Can I do this? Can I just run the correct colors to the existing wires? Anyone have any experience with this in the area that can help me? I don't like electrical stuff ,I tend to blow things up.

Only if the wires in the standoff are the "correct color" and not just whatever color people had laying around. Download the 660 wiring diagram and make sure to follow the wires instead of just matching colors..

Does the color matter if they are wired correctly? Wire is wire right? Color is to help us , so with that said if I use the existing wire and just make sure it is wired right and then connect the new harness will it be ok? I'm just wondering because I won't have enough length if I just use the new harness.

Correct! I just wanted to make sure you didnt blindly connect red to red, green to green, etc.

You can use 18 gauge thermostat wire to extend the harness.
