Icecap T5 Endcaps

Do these really just compression fit into the mounting bracket, or have I done something wrong?

Three in total keeping slipping out when I close the hood.

Anyone have these too?

If your talking about the endcap mounting into the stand off, there's 2 little ridges on each side of the endcap that locks into the stand off. You have to push it down hard to lock it into place.

Lots of people have trouble keeping Icecap endcaps staying clipped to the standoffs. I think its a poor design/quality control. Anyway...some people really have had to use lots of force to get them to snap in place, others have given up and glued the endcaps to the standoffs.

These are so bad, and not worthy of the Icecap brand at all.

It's a shame, too. I swear by their line of ballasts, but these endcaps are just plain lousy!!!

I just ordered new endcaps....what the heck, right, it's not like taxes are going to be raised or anything in the next couple years
