Ich-Clout

Clout is made for both fresh, and salt water tanks. It is not reef safe, and it will kill certain scaleless fish, invertebrates, and lionfish. I have found that it beats the Holy Hell out of Ich. I have always used it since I kept freshwater fish. It has always dealt decicively with Ich. The only time that it ever failed me was when I forgot to remove the carbon from the aquarium filter until it was too late. I know people will recommend copper. I am telling you what worked for me. Follow the directions carefully. read the warnings. it will kill coral, inverts, lionfish, and is dangerous to use on scaleless fish, but it does work. A hospital tank with not other inhabitants, or live rock is a necessity.

It may very well work, but Clout is nasty stuff. It is a pesticide. It does have its uses. I have used it to treat lfish lice and anchor worms in freshwater fishes and it works well. But, it is not the first thing I reach for because how noxious it is.

My first experiences with it were in freshwater too. But it will cure saltwater Ich very successfully. As you know you must be very careful with it. It is not for all fish, or creatures.
