ICH / Coral question

I had my early introduced Kole tang come down with ich and have removed all fish from tank treating them and going fallow. I also now have a great QT set up so the fish related problem won't happen again. Not wanting to have to go through this again, what is the best way to avoid bringing ich into the tank on a coral i get from the LFS or another reefer? I only have one fuzzy mushroom coral now and I used revive to dip that one.

Quarantine the coral also in a fishless tank.

QT it for the typical 4-6 weeks?

Yes, generally 6 weeks is ideal. Use a good coral dip before qt and after, I use a toothbrush and scrub any rock during the bath to get any possible cysts or hitch hikers off.
