I have a 125 gallon reef tank with 180 lbs of liverock, 15 - 20 corals, and some tangs. I have just noticed that my fish have ich and I have no clue how to get rid of it. I don't have a qt tank and I can't catch them to give them a fresh water dip. What should I do before they all die???????? Help!!!!

There are some supposedly reef safe treatments for Ich. Some people say that they have worked. Go to one of the on-line or LFS and you should be able to find one of them to try. I had to deal with a case myself; however, I did remove all my fish from the main tank and have had them in QT now for several weeks. I had no fish in my main tank for 7 weeks.

Setting-up a QT isn't too expensive; however, I found it took quite a bit of time. Good luck with treating your tank and if it fails to cure the fish reconsider QT.

The only way you will cure your fish and rid your system of ich is to remove the fish to a qt , treat with Hyposalinity and leave your tank fallow for at least 4 weeks.
