So I added a powder blue tang and it died from ich two days later. i never had any problems with it before so im assuming it came on her, anyways i wait a couple weeks and have added a clown and a jewel damsel and they have both got it and I kept them alive with garlic now they are ok. So heres my question is ich just free floating right now if they have already dropped off my fish? If so should I get a uv sterlizer. I feel restricted on adding anymore fish because I know its in there. I know I should of QT but here I am its in my DT now what?

^^^^^I agree^^^^^^^

Ich will be in your tank until you remove all fish, treat them in a QT, and leave your main tank fishless for 10+ weeks. Then the DT will be ich-free. Use a QT with all new fish and you'll never have to deal with ich in your DT again. BTW, garlic does nothing for ich and UV does very little to control it. UV will never eliminate it. I'd avoid buying any more fish until you've done a lot of research. Read a couple of good books on the hobby, etc. Don't count on your LFS to give you sound advice.
