I had a blue tang in my main display with ich all fish were removed june 26...

I have had no fish in the main display since june 26th...

I have a 29g with 2 clowns, a yellow tang, and a damsel. None of these fish ever showed signs of ich however the tank has been in hypo since the 26th...

I have a blue tang in a 20 gallon this fish was the one showing signs of ich and did have 1 more outbreak of ich even in the qt at hypo but has since shown no more signs of ich but does have scarring on him.

I am curious if it is ok for me to put the fish from the 29 back in the main display or if I need to do the full 6-8 weeks with those fish even thogh they never showed signs of ich? My main display should be ich free at this point correct?

you still have fish in the main display? you need to have the tank empty for at least 4 weeks and 6 to be safe!!! this is what the pros told me.....but you need to have NO fish in the tank even if they show no signs of ich bc it could be in the gills and you cant see it.

if dt has no fish at all for 4-6 weeks, you'll be ok. but weird thing is ich will come into the system in anyway, on little lr rubble that comes with corals, etc.... just keep fish fat and healthy, that's the most important thing.

make sure you wait at least 6 weeks 4 is a gamble. if all you did was hyposalinity for a treatment i would definatly recomend a formalin and malichite green treatment or a copper treatment especially on the blue tang. its best to be safe patient about it or you'll be doing it all over in a month.
