I dont get it. I currently am running a 240 gallon reef and I keep getting ich. The fish do well for a week or two with no signs and then out of no where its back. It started with my flame and then spread. I have had all these fish for some time I dont know what I'm doing wrong. I have more than adequite filtration and a UV running with weekly water changes but they just cant seem to kick it. Any ideas?

Filtration and/or UV will do nothing to cure your tank of ich. You need to pull your fish out and QT them and use copper or hyposalinity to kill/cure the ich. The life cycle of the ich dictates that it will come and go on a regular basis and can get worse and kill all of your fish. Don't succumb to any of the so called reef safe ich cures that you buy in a bottle. They are nothing more than water.
