Ich in display Tank

I have recently Removed all of my fish from my display tank when some of my fish cam down with Ich. I still have Live Rock, Substrate, crabs, snails and a Cleaner shrimp still in the display tank. Will the ICH die off eventually with no host (fish) to attach to in my display tank? Also how long do I have to wait for this to happen? Can inverts, and also the substrate still carry the ICH parasite even after the waiting period? Then later when I re-introduce the fish back into the main display tank will they get ICH again? I'm worried about re-introducing any more fish in my main display tank and i'm looking for suggestions on what I should do next. Should I remove the inverts and live rock and put them in a tub with a heater and power filter, and remove the water completely and start from Scratch? Please, if you can provide me with any info it would be greatly appreciated!

yes, that is suppose to happen

i recommend at least 8 weeks at normal temps

No
suggestions on what I should do next.

treat infected fish with cupramine for 3 weeks, make sure no spots seen for at least 6 weeks add to tank after fallow period...AND,,quarantine anything else you want to add in there.

Should I remove the inverts and live rock and put them in a tub with a heater and power filter, and remove the water completely and start from Scratch?
i wouldn't bother..you still have to treat the fish.

it seems as though most healthy fish will and can fight off ich, especially if there already established in the tank..your new introduced fish that are streesed etc. will have a hard time fighting off ich..i have ich in my tank and it comes and goes..it hasnt killed a fish yet,and all my fish seem happy and hungry..a few spots one day,the next day there gone...i also have a cleaner wrasse and cleaner shrimp who seem to love ich,and go to work on it whenever it pops up...ich usually will attack the weaker and lighter immune system fish...most strong fish can fight it off easily,at least so far in my experience..im thinking of buying a uv stertilizer in the future as well...
