That is in the same family as what I take for malaria when I am in Haiti! Tastes like a bleach tonic. It is effective for rays and sharks.

I got Ich in my predator tank, I have a 6" Sting Ray in there that I do not want to hurt. The fish in the tank are a 7" Lionfish, 2 5" Triggers, a Toadfish, and a 4" Sgt. Major. I have used Kick Ich before but is it my best option?

What do you think brought about the recent outbreak?

Have you added a new fish recently? Do you QT new fish?

Any problems with water quality recently? Temperature fluctuations? Other stressors?

Forgot about that as also being an option. A couple of things te note. Quinine is not quite as effective against ich as chloroquine and is also harsher although still safe for your ray. The good thing is can be bought retail in small quantities without a prescription.

syrinx pmed me for an update and I thought i would get on and share the out come...
I lost several fish, lionfish, toadfish, 2 clowns, yellow tang, panther grouper, and one trigger. But on a HUGE positive note, my sting ray is ok! Also the sgt. major and green spotted puffer are ok.
