Ich on glass?

I have had my tank fallow for a month now while im treating an ich outbreak. It appears the last few nights that the ich has latched to the glass. Now the guy at my lfs laughed at me but it sure appears to be a very small parasite on the glass. Its a tiny white spot with small hairs coming off the sides of it(maybe 3-4 hairs). There are TONS of them.Is there any chance of this happening or is it another pest i need to deal with? I dont have a camera good enough to get a pic of it unfortunately. Thanks in advance.

I am no way an expert, I honestly don't have a tank yet. However, with that said I think ICH is a parasite that needs a host. Do you have anything that'll lay eggs on the glass? Snails maybe?

Matt, I don't think that you have to worry about Ich attaching to your aquarium glass. Make sure that the tank is fallow for at least 8 weeks, but I would recommend 10 weeks before adding any fish.

The tiny white spots are copepods, which are proliferating because there are no fish in the tank to eat them. Nothing to worry about.
