Ich on tomnini tang

Ok so I got this tomini tang 3 weeks ago and I've noticed my fish have been itching and having white spots. So I have a tomini tang, 2 percula clowns, tailspot blenny, golden headed sleeper goby and a melanarus wrasse. The tang has a few white spots on his fins and the wrasse is itching. A week ago the sandsifter had tons of white spots so I started dosing with Ich X for about two weeks and he looks so much better. Now? The tang is showing the signs he did and so I started dosing again with ich x but I noticed my corals were being stressed. So I moved them to my friends tank were he is holding them till I get this under control. I'd there a more effective way to get ich off my fish then to use ich x? This is in my display tank and I'm not using copper for shure:/ or should I just keep dosing for a while?

Ich X will not do anything for ich or anything that claims to be reef safe. Neither will a fresh water dip or garlic. The only three proven treatments are putting all fish in a QT and treating with copper or tanktransfer method with the third being hyposalinity wich IMO is hard to pull off. The display tank needs to be fallow for 11 weeks. Otherwise your Dt will stay infected and so will your fish. There are some stickies on the subject. Good luck

I agree.
Ich-X is a formaldehyde product that is deadly to corals and other inverts. The instructions even say to only use in a QT. If you don't start using a QT, this will ruin the hobby for you. There are no easy fixes once ich is in the system. BTW, spots disappearing is a normal part of the ich life cycle, read the stickies above. The next round of ich will probably be much worse.
